I think it’s the Millenium Hotel as it is right over looking the square.

I am not too interested in staying in an all-inclusive hotel, I would rather be able to stay in an affordable, nice hotel but still be able to experience the culture and people. Any help is appreciated. Also, is there any advantage to using a travel agency? I would much rather do it myself but I am just worried about legit transportation to and from the hotel and to neighboring towns.

I would check out www.naturacabana.com
This is a nice Inn, that will give you some great luxuries, but still allow you’re vacation to be simple, and you’ll be able to experience culture. It’s located right in between the towns of Sosua and Cabarete (about 8 minutes to each), and it’s about 15 minutes from the airport in Puerto Plata.
I personally like Cabarete, I live in the area, and it’s really laid back. I think Sosua attracts more older people, and men. Although their beach is nice.
That’s why I reccomend this hotel, it’s close to both towns so you’ll be able to explore a bit more, it offers a great beach, and they are also able to plan excursions for you.

Hi

I am looking for names of spas or hotels that would offer spa days in North Wales. Cannot find any on yahoo search, but am sure there must be some.
Also interested in any personal recommendations.

Thanx
MGB

(PS I know Cardiff is not in north wales, but no other welsh places mentioned!) Sorree
Carden park looks nice but is bit too far away from the Snowdonia area that I was looking for.
Same prob with St David’s. Both look lovely, but too far away.

ok – not quite north wales – just outside but all i can think of- Carden Park near chester – de vere hotel with spa and very very good packages

My 7 year old daughter’s birthday is on July 4. (She’s an Independence Baby!) And we were planning to have it in Great Wolf Lodge, but they’re booked for the whole week. So if people would give us any suggestions on similar hotels compared to Great Wolf, it would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. It would also help if the hotel was located somewhere near Maryland.

check hotels.com i don’t think i’ve ever seen anything like Great Wolf, however I have seen others with waterparks and fun stuff. Where I live we have a Great wolf and an Americana which has a waterpark. Check that site, or try expedia.com or travelocity. You may find them that way. OR tripadvisor.com might have something.

Good luck

Also, I need some sleepover tips, activities, ideas, and everything. Also, stories from your sleepovers would help too. I am going to have a pool/spa hotel party. We would stay the night at a hotel. We’re going to go swimming, and then we’re going to do a homemade spa thing! Please help!

See if your hotel offers video games or movies. You can play those while taking turns in getting nails done and what not. And since you’re with your friends, I doubt there is a chance you guys will run out of things to laugh or talk about.

Make a list of the facials and other things you’d like to do. and have it around for your guests to see what they’d like. Here are suggested links.

Don’t forget to bring in all of the ingredients of what you need
and extra towels (as well as lots of food. So keep extra money and a list of delivery places; or a cheaper option, ask everyone to bring something, whether it be sweets, pizza, etc.). Oh and be sure to have cameras. Have a photo shoot of before and after the facials and what not. You could also have little souvenir bags for your guests. Useful beauty toiletries like compact mirrors, lip balm, travel sized lotions, little combs, little nail polish bottles…. They’re not all that hard to find and easy on your wallet.

These are just a few ideas of many. Like I said before, with a few friends over a night, I’m sure you won’t run out of things to do.

Have fun=)

It’s my boyfriend’s birthday soon and I’d really like to make the day special for him. I’m hoping to book a luxury hotel so that we can enjoy a romantic night in a beautiful and classy room.

The hotel needs to be somewhere in London, can anyone offer me any suggestions ?

Thanks.

I told you.
Reasonably priced and luxury don’t happen!!!

Hey!
Will be in Toronto tomorrow and would just like to take the train or the buss from the Airport to the Hotel (West Inn Harbor Castle) instead of paying the ridiculous amount in Cab fees. The hotel does not offer complementary shuttle (that’s $40) while I know the train/buss would cost less then $5. Could you please tell me the trains and buses I would have to take from the airport?
Thanks a bunch!

Just want to say that the $40 is well worth it when you find yourself sitting on a packed bus stuck in traffic, stopping everywhere and taking over 90 minutes to get to the Westin.

Do you have any facial recipes? Also, I want some sleepover tips, activities, ideas, and everything. Also, stories from your sleepovers would help too. I am going to have a pool/spa hotel party. We would stay the night at a hotel. We’re going to go swimming, and then we’re going to do a homemade spa thing! Please help!

This sounds like a really fun party!!!

I have doen the homemade masks but since you are in a hotel it might be a better just to buy the good facial packs from the store because egg whites and cucumbers are to messy in a hotel but I would suggest having each person do a different type so photo looks cool(like one pink strawberry scrub mask, one clear peal mask, one blue mosturizer mask, and one brown mud mask:)

do your nails all different and gets those sticky deco to put on your nails at the dollar store

*when your done take a picture of a finger nail team star whereeach person puts their fingers in the middle with and upside down peace sign touching each other makes a friendship star

play games like truth or dare
prank calls
room service
make overs etc.

have fun and please on my party idea to any friends or cousins who like the amzing race

You may want to have a look here: http://www3.telus.net/chase-games

This site describes an Amazing Race party plan that is great for a birthday party, sleepovers, scavenger hunt, etc and is designed for kids aged 13 – 18. The “legs” of the Amazing Race party plan sell on eBay quite cheap (like $5). Good Luck!

I’m planning to visit Amsterdam, Netherlands next week. I would like to know whether the Marriot Hotel (located between Leidseplein and Vondelpark) or the Renaissance Hotel (located between Central Station and Dam Square) would be more convenient given the winter weather.

Which hotel location is better for tourist to see the major attractions in the wintertime? Any other travel tips for exploring Amsterdam in December? Thank you.

The Renaissance by all means (I’ve been to Amsterdam, and I am a hotel manager of 8 years ). The location is beautiful and close to stuff thats historic, and entertainment – the redlight district, the hard rock, lots of tours n stuff.
