The two types of cash registers
There are two main types of cash registers: the numeric and the alphanumeric. The first family does not set labels, they are basically improved calculators. The second family is characterized by a keyboard divided into three areas:
– An area for manual entry of goods or commodities,
- An area for modes of payment (checks, cash, cards)
– An area for the manager who is authorized to perform certain operations.
